1.) How does Plaza Printing work?
For Sports Balls, Ornaments, Pet Balls, Home Plates, and Hockey Pucks - Plaza Printing uses a patented thermal process to directly adhere your image to our specially coated sports balls, ornaments, and hockey pucks.
For Coffee Mugs, Mouse Pads, Coasters, and Puzzles - Plaza Printing using Dye Sublimation Heat Transfer Process.
2.) How quickly can I get my product?
Normal turnaround is 5 to 7 business days. Expedited service is available at an additional charge.
3.) How long will a product last?
While we do not recommend playing with your Photo Sports Ball products, your printed should last forever if proper care is taken. T-shirts will last as long as the normal wear and care of the shirt. Coffee mugs are permanently printed onto the product and does not peel, chip, or fade.
4.) Can I send you a printed photograph or do I have to use a digital image?
Plaza Printing welcomes printed and digital photographs. Simply follow the directions on the Order Form page on how to mail your order.
5.) If I send a printed photograph, will I get it back?
Our technology does not require the use of your actual printed image, so the picture will be unharmed by the process. We recommend that you write your name and phone number on a piece of tape and adhere it to the back of the picture. Never write directly onto the picture because this could damage the photo. We will make every effort to return your photograph with your item. In case your photo is separated from your order, the identification information (name and phone number) you place on the back of the photo should eliminate any lost photos.
6.) What sort of photographs can I send?
Submit a photograph print, drawing, logo, computer graphic, digital photo, etc. for personalized dye sublimation printing. We recommend that you send a digital image or a printed image that is of good quality and is approximately 4x6. We suggest that your subject be close-up; small items in the distance do not print well. Due to copyright laws, we are not able to reproduce any copyrighted images. Photo layout, colors and cropping will be at Plaza Printing's discretion. Because of variables in materials and the printing process, exact color matching of photos and spot colors cannot be guaranteed.
7.) How do I send a digital picture which will be used to personalized a product?
We accept .PSD, .TIF, and .JPG files. A TIF image (.tif) is usually best for potos, and more the more pixels the better. An EPS image is usually best for graphics as it retains the smooth curves. We like to work with files of 150-200 dpi. For mousepads, shirts, full size sports balls, and tote bags, we need an image you have sized to at least 6x8 so that we can enlarge it without jagged edges. It's possible the file will be 5mb-7mb in size. For all other products, (coffee mugs, mini size sportsballs, and ornaments, we can work with a smaller image 3x5 and the file size is usually 1mb-4mb. If you have any questions, you are welcome to call or write before placing your order. Send your digital images to: artwork@plazaprinting.com.
